Research Interests
Dr. Junyi Liang is interested in terrestrial ecology and biogeochemical cycles. The research in his laboratory aims to improve the understanding of terrestrial ecosystems in response to climate change and human activities. The lab employs a wide range of techniques such as manipulative experiments, modeling, data-model integration and remote sensing images. Research programs include ecosystem carbon and nutrient cycles, microbe-plant-animal-environment interactions, grass-livestock management, data-driven dynamic modeling, extreme events, and environmental impacts of managed system.
